Breakfast was delicious and I loved the variety. Everyday, there was something different. While the rooms were roomy enough to spread out and be comfortable, they were a little dated and the floors were dingy and kinda dirty. Everything else, like the sheets and towels, was clean though, and there were no bugs. I wore shoes or slippers the whole time and used a towel to lay on the floor if I was sitting on the floor for whatever reason. The staff was wonderful and very friendly and ready to help. The pools and hot tubs were heavily chlorinated or bleached and burnt our eyes a little. I also was surprised that the pools stayed open until midnight. That was nice and actually gave us a chance to enjoy it. The jets on the hot tubs were quite violent, so we tried to just soak in the hot tub without the jets on, and that was better. The elevator first floor button was broken in the covered walkway, so we had to use the stairs everyday. It was also very hot in the first part of walkway, but otherwise very handy, if you don't want to drive everyday. The service at the T.G.I.F. was great and the food was way better than I expected. We had a great time at the MOA and if we ever come back, I'd stay here again.

Located across the street from the Mall of America. Basically two hotels in one building-check in at the Country Inn side then we parked in the back of building to get to our room on 5th floor. Make sure you check in and get keys first as you need the key to unlock door in the rear of building. Easy to park and walk to the mall using the skywalk (if you don’t mind the extra walking) Our room was a king size bed with a pull out coach fit 4 adults perfectly. The room had a living room area with couch, chair, table, refrigerator and microwave. The bed was on the other side in its own room, a tv in each sleeping space. You are close to the airport so you can hear planes throughout the night but not enough to not sleep..unless you’re a light sleeper. IHOP and TGIFridays in same area as hotel. I’d stay here again it worked perfectly for our weekend at the mall. Hotel does have hot tub and 2 swimming pools but they are on smaller side. 20 people and it’s pretty packed, swimming didn’t appeal to me but it’s available. Front desk staff friendly and efficient. Housekeeping was friendly too.

Wonderful location - close to the south side of Mall of America that was accessible across an elevated walkway. It was closer than it appeared on the map. The Park Plaza and adjoining Country Inn are served by one reception. Easier to enter on the Country Inn side (next to TGI Fridays) because the reception is located there. Staff were excellent - friendly and professional. They really knew the meaning of customer service and were a highlight of the stay. Room was a good size - and there was even a window to open - love having fresh air in the room. Everything was clean, and the Wifi was strong too. Bed was comfortable and I slept very well. For those who wish to clean their clothes, there is one washing machine and one dryer available. I took the airport shuttle for my departure and that was a very welcome benefit of staying here. Given the competitive price of this property compared to nearby competitors, this is an easy choice for someone staying in this area. I would definitely stay again.

Breakfast on Tuesday morning was the best, as they had French toast. The waffles were good, too. The sausage Pattie’s were not a highlight with my family. Besides that, the property was amazing! 2 pools and 2 hot tubs, so no one felt left out. The location is chef’s kiss, literally a 6 minute walk via the sky bridge. I did not have to move my car. Located on the side of the hotel is an ihop and a Fridays. And let’s not forget the front desk clerk, Pierre. He was the best. Always asking if you needed something, helpful with the directions for the sky bridge, and he just seemed to really enjoy what he does!

From check-in to check-out the staff were absolutely amazing and made us feel welcome. The size and feel of the room was so much more than we expected and made us feel at home. The free parking and close proximity to the mall made it convenient to walk back and forth and save money as well. Have a continental breakfast also was convenient to feed our daughter before the start of her day. This is definitely a hotel I'd return to and definitely recommend, you won't be disappointed.
